Did you know that the financial statements of Massachusetts nonprofits are available on the Division of Public Charities’ website? This enables the general public to access your financial statements with a few mouse clicks. For this reason it is important for board members and managers of nonprofits to understand the inner workings of their financial statements to make sure that the story of their organization is told in the most favorable light. This workshop will use easy to understand language to discuss the intricacies of nonprofit financial statements. You’ll leave this workshop with the tools to better comprehend this sometimes mysterious topic.
