MEET MICHELLE

Michelle joined Edelstein as Chief Operating Officer in 2021 and is the firm’s operational leader. Michelle brings a broad base of industry knowledge to Edelstein. She has worked with many top 200 firms to drive process improvement using technology to create operational efficiencies, she has strong industry relationships and proven success in driving strategy, balanced with managing the day-to-day operations.

Community Service

Michelle is passionate about Community Service. She served on the Thompson Island Board for five years and chaired a team for Harpoon Helps Spread Holiday Cheer for more than 15 years. Today Michelle is actively involved in the local elementary school parent organization where her two children attend school.

BACKGROUND

Michelle was previously Vice President of Client Service at XCM Solutions, acquired by Wolters Kluwer in 2020. Michelle has a deep understanding of the accounting industry. She started her career as an Auditor at Eisner and PwC, served as a Management Consultant at KPMG and most recently lead the business operations and Client Service organization at XCM, a tax and accounting workflow platform. 

Michelle received a B.A. in Accounting from Syracuse University; she was named a CPA Practice Advisor 2017 20 Under 40 Nominee and co-authored the “How Workflow Technology Can Transform Your Practice” Whitepaper for the AICPA.
