As we entered into our 50th anniversary year here at Edelstein, we announced our participation in five larger scale community service events to commemorate one per decade that we have been in business.  On Saturday, September 22, a group of over 15 joined Team Edelstein to take part in the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer.  We enjoyed a beautiful morning walking around the Boston Common while raising both awareness and funds for a great cause. The mission of St Jude Children’s Hospital is, “to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.” We are proud that our funds raised will directly impact the lives of children and their families; and that we not only met our fundraising goal, but doubled what we had set out to initially raise!
