BACKGROUND
Abhijit started his career with Price Waterhouse & Co. in Calcutta, India while preparing for his Chartered Accounting professional qualification. He led audit teams for publicly held companies in India after successfully qualifying to become an Associate Chartered Accountant. His interest in strategic planning and decision making led him to a Master’s in Business Administration degree at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa which was highly recommended to him by Caterpillar managers he met at Calcutta. After completing his MBA, Abhijit settled down in the field of public accounting in the Boston area working with several local firms including a controllership at one of his clients where he set budgets, reported to the executive management team and assisted in the team achieving six straight years of double digit growth through effective and timely reporting and strategic planning ultimately assisting in the successful acquisition by a publicly held company.
Abhijit has since turned his attention to public accounting assisting clients with accounting, business strategies and tax planning.
