IRS Transitions Away from Facial Recognition Verification
On February 7, 2022, the IRS announced that they would be transitioning away from the use of a third-party verification that would use facial recognition. The decision was made to prevent delays in tax filing this season and will take place in the coming weeks. Please note that the IRS will continue to accept tax filings and we will continue to file as we normally would.
