Edelstein Announces Principal Promotions
We are happy to announce the promotion of five of our managers to principal. These individuals are dedicated, hard-working, leaders whom we are excited to welcome to the principal level. Congratulations to Bob, Mike, Greg, Kate, and Kyle!
Bob focuses his practice on helping technology, retail, professional services, healthcare and other privately held entities with complex accounting and operations issues. While his clients rely on him as a problem solver, audit manager and business consultant, Bob offers far more than accounting and audit management. Bob’s clients consider him a trusted advisor — a resource they can call anytime they have questions, need a reality check or want a reasoned, arm’s length perspective. Bob’s well-rounded background in audit, tax and consulting, allows him to help his clients with their financial and managerial accounting issues and devise practical, cost-effective ways to address them.
For over thirteen years, Michael has advised multi-million dollar, privately-held business entities and their owners on complex federal, state and local tax issues. He helps large, multi-state and international flow-through entities, large C-Corporations, high net-worth individuals and other clients with planning and compliance. In addition to his specialized flow-through taxation skill set, Michael has deep, broad experience dealing with state and local tax issues.
When working with Greg, nonprofit clients get an audit principal who understands first-hand the opportunities and challenges they face. Having served as treasurer of two public charities, Greg uses his real-world experience to develop practical strategies to help his clients remain compliant, raise funds, reduce costs and establish financial sustainability.
With a wide-angle perspective gained through his accounting experience with individuals and businesses, Greg is able to spot issues before they become problems. He helps public charities and private foundations develop accounting and financial policies that achieve greater compliance, operational efficiency and transparency. Greg also works with nonprofit clients to improve internal controls, safeguarding them from material financial reporting misstatements or potential embezzlement of funds.
Kate is passionate about helping her clients achieve financial security by using the right tax planning tools and strategies. Whether sharing information about new tax rules, advising on wealth transfer strategies or solving an unexpected tax issue before it becomes a problem, Kate is committed to knowing her clients’ needs and what drives them.
Kate serves high net worth individuals and their families, including executives, investment managers, attorneys, physicians, hedge fund partners, venture capitalists and entrepreneurs. Many of Kate’s clients file multiple types of returns and in many states.
Kyle Shukie helps privately held business entities – ranging from small family businesses to $100 million companies – minimize their tax liability and ensure regulatory compliance.
