We believe in the strength of mentoring, and that every person in our firm should feel a sense of responsibility and collaboration for at least one other Edelstein team member, who is not a direct report. Fostering relationships across departments and niches builds firm cohesiveness and collaboration.

The goal of our mentoring program is to ensure that our people know what is expected of them professionally and have the tools, resources and support they need to grow and prosper.

There are three levels of mentoring:

Buddy Program: New employees are matched with a “who do I ask” go-to person who offers additional perspective and a sounding board for ideas and questions that may arise as the new employee is learning about the firm.

Peer Mentoring: This program, facilitated by mangers, principals and partners, supplements the Buddy Program by providing peer-to-peer interaction through group discussion and programs. It helps professionals gain an understanding of firm culture, expectations, career development opportunities and provides an informal setting to learn, share knowledge and build new skills.

One-on-One Mentoring: This program is designed for supervisors and managers and provides a safe environment to develop skills and work toward goals. The objective is to enhance leadership abilities, commitment to the firm and profession and build loyalty and retention.
